Cody's Appliance Repair Services

Cody’s Appliance Repair has introduced a new product in its repair arsenal; yearly maintenance!  A good friend and follower of Eastern medicine once told me that in these countries their philosophy is to pay the doctor to keep you well, not just treat you when you become sick.  Well, the same holds true with your appliances!

We do routine maintenance on our vehicles and our bodies, but what about the appliances that we just cannot live without for even a day?  They just hum along day after day without complaint, and often they are showing signs that they need attention.  But we choose to ignore those signs.  We may not recognize these signs or are just in denial that there is trouble heading our way.  It may be a slight squeaking of the washer that seems like no big deal or a dryer that takes multiple cycles to dry.  Your ice production may be down or your oven just seems off temperature; these are all signs that they need your attention before it becomes a major problem. NOW is a great time to think about our maintenance program to ward off costly repair to your appliances, including refrigerator repair, dishwasher repair, dryer repair, to name a few.

Please see our information regarding our yearly maintenance schedule.  We think it is a terrific value, and it and may just save you a bundle in additional component failure, increased gas and electric bills, and possible home fires or flood.

For our property management customers, we understand the necessity of keeping those appliances operating in your rentals.  Often replacement is just not an option, due to size or shape of the existing appliances.  It takes superior technical skill to keep these older models functioning!  Our technicians are trained, insured, and licensed, so you can rest assured that your tenants are safe and well cared-for.  We are prompt and efficient, and will do our utmost to work with your tenant’s busy schedules.

We also offer billing arrangements to our established clients.

Cody’s Appliance carries a wide range of appliance parts.  If you are inclined to make your own repairs, we can help you find the parts you need.  Just give us a call!

Annual Maintenance Checklist

Yearly maintenance will prolong the life of your appliances and save you money on energy cost and ultimate repair bills!

For only $99 a year, we will provide the following services:

2-Years Pre-Paid for only $180
3-Years Pre-Paid for only $250

  • Check and clean main refrigerator condenser coils, if accessible.  This service prolongs the life of the refrigerator, puts less stress on components, and lowers your electric bill.
  • Replace water filter on refrigerator, if present (filter extra).  Studies show after one-year's use, or manufacturer's recommendation, chemicals and bacteria leach back into the water out the door and ice cubes, which can affect your health.
  • Clean dryer vent and blower housing (up to 15 feet) Exclusions do apply.  Dryer vent fires are the number-one source of home fires.  Regular maintenance can save lives.  Also, a clogged vent and/or blower housing can cause other component failures in the machine.
  • Check hoses on the washer for wear and run a cleaning agent through front-load washers.  A burst hose can run unchecked and flood your home, causing thousands of dollars of damage.  Front load cleaning agent prevents mildew and moldy smell.
  • Check sump and pump on your dishwasher.  Check drain hoses and run a cleaning agent through your unit.  Food debris can build up in the sump and pump, causing blockage, poor cleaning and a nasty smell.  Old drain hoses can cause flooding.  Our cleaning agent will clear calcium buildup in the unit, if present, and make the unit look shiny and new!
  • We will inspect your garbage disposal and run a cleaner through the unit.  A garbage disposal can leak for months and you will never now it!

As an added bonus, any problems we diagnose or any other repair or maintenance work performed at your home at the time of service will be discounted 20% off of the regular labor price!

We can also be your eyes and ears at your rentals.  We can give you a detailed report on our findings, the overall condition of the unit and the appliances.  We can also check, free of charge when we are out at the unit, burner function, if the condenser coils are clean, if the garbage disposer is functioning properly, and the overall shape of the dishwasher.
